Rosemary Nankabirwa is undergoing treatment for adrenal cortical carcinoma
The famous light skinned 9.00pm English news anchor on NTV is undergoing treatment for adrenal cortical carcinoma as well as other complications which have kept her in and out of Intensive Care Unit at the cancer and the Heart Institutes in Mulago.
It is from that background that the mother is appealing to the public seeking financial assistance for operation in India to save her daughter’s life.
Florence Naluyimba, a journalist who met with the family during Easter said that the operation needs to be done immediately.
“We have had speculations and wrong information about Rosemary but I have talked to Rosemary’s mother and the family needs spiritual and financial help, we will have Rose’s back if you reach in your pocket and pull out anything,” she said.

Unfortunately Rosemary Nankabirwa succumbed to adreno-cortical carcinoma, cancer of the adrenal gland on Sunday 12 April 2015 afternoon at the Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. Rosemary breathed her last moments after some good amounts of money were raised in the car wash fund drive campaign.
