"My Papal Experience in Uganda 2015"

Time check, 1645 Hrs.' East African Time on Fri 27th November 2015 , His Holiness Pope Francis landed at Entebbe Airport. Being a Social Media enthusiast by nature , I immediately got onto Twitter to look up the trending topics in my area code, and guess what, #PopeInUganda was enormously and deeply making rounds on the platform.

For those who may be reading this article but do not much about Pope Francis, you are in the right space because before continuing this article I want to briefly give some details of who Pope Francis is and what's unique about him.

Full Name: Jorge Mario Bergoglio

Pope Francis on March 13, 2013, when he was named the 266th pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Bergoglio, the first pope from the Americas, took his papal title after St. Francis of Assisi of Italy. Prior to his election as pope, Bergoglio served as archbishop of Buenos Aires from 1998 to 2013 (succeeding Antonio Quarracino), as cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church of Argentina from 2001 to 2013, and as president of the Bishops' Conference of Argentina from 2005 to 2011.

Its my wish and pleasure that we now all have a clue on who Pope Francis is, lets now get into the awesome pictorial moments that happened when the Pope visited the Pearl of Africa - Uganda. Having followed the hash tag #PopeInUganda, closely I have no doubt that Pope Francis is a unique living being; from his love for the poor and needy, to a simple life style and not forgetting his passion for the protection of the environment.
